Ocean Safety Appoints New Commercial Account Manager

Ocean Safety have made a key new appointment at its Plymouth office. The specialists in the worldwide supply, distribution, service and hire of marine safety equipment have promoted Max Wilson to South West Area Commercial Account Manager.

Max will support the company’s customers within the shipping, commercial fishing, superyacht, ferry and shipbuilding sectors in the South West England and South Wales regions. He will be working closely with customers in the area, continuing to provide Ocean Safety’s high level of customer support and consultancy to tailor bespoke safety specifications and fulfil personalised solutions.  He will also be responsible for growing sales of safety equipment.  Inventories include man overboard recovery equipment, liferafts and lifejackets, as well as lifesaving equipment for dockside areas.

Ocean Safety’s Sales Director Mark Acaster comments, “I am delighted that we have been able to promote Max to his new role.  He has spent two and half years working in the Southampton Sales Office.  During this time he has built a tremendous knowledge base of our products and has developed excellent working relationships with some of our key customers. I am sure he will take the transition to Account Manager in his stride.  Everyone at Ocean Safety will be there to help him succeed in the South West.”
